“It’s the best long weekend ever,” says Sun Valley resident Sarah Woodward. She is referring to the Wine Auction taking place July 20-22 in support of the Sun Valley Center for the Arts. The three-day event is in its 36th year and is the largest individual fundraising source for the art center. The highly anticipated event is held on the grounds of Dollar Mountain and features multiple functions—in fact, each festivity of the weekend is almost a large-scale event in its own right. The common thread linking each event is a celebration of world-class wine and food pairings in a spectacular setting in support of local arts education.
