July, in all its busyness and sweeping heat, is upon us now in the Valley. Those of us who work in restaurants and retail are beginning to feel the intensity of summer, the bodies crowding in the streets and the voices echoing from the doorsteps of bars and restaurants, while groups await reprieves from the sun and bustle, served chilled and on the rocks.
