Dirty Revival by Hayden Seder

One note from Dirty Revival’s front woman, Sarah Clarke—belting out soulful renditions of songs like “Don’t Stop Believin’” as well as originals, and it’s clear that this lady was born for the stage. But surprisingly, before the band’s formation in 2013 the Portland, Oregon, native had only performed in her high school choir and had no plans to become a musician. But become a musician she did, and her voice has been compared to that of Aretha Franklin and Rose Royce and the sound of overall band has been compared to Earth Wind and Fire and Stevie Wonder. Officially known as Dirty Revival, the band has been making headway across the Northwest and will be performing at both this year’s Treefort Music Festival and at Ketchum’s own Whiskey Jacques February 3.
