Stella’s Shelter Fund Takes a Love for Shelter Animals a Little Further by Sabina Dana Plasse, photography by Halsey Pierce

 
Wood River Valley residents Jennifer Terra and Holly Mora have been friends since the seventh grade and have always shared a love of animals. Today, they are successful, working women—Terra at Sushi on Second, and Mora at High Altitude Fitness as an owner and trainer with her husband, Kevin. With a strong friendship and a bond over things they love, they also share an understanding that there is no limit to the possibilities for changing the world or, at the moment, a small portion of Idaho. When they started Stella’s Shelter Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, only a few short months ago, Terra and Mora knew it would have positive results for the rural shelters in the surrounding areas of the Wood River Valley. In addition, and with the help of Brittany Ratliffe, the manager of High Altitude Fitness, items would be accounted for and managed and they could also create.
