When I ask Garrett Dutton aka G. Love about the style of music he plays, he gave several responses: “We call it ‘hip hop blues,’ …but we’ve also been called ‘sloppy’ and ‘laid back blues,’ which is definitely a compliment. I would say it’s more ‘trash can blues’.”
