Trail Creek Cabin
Dinner 5:30-9pm, Wednesday-Sunday
51 Trail Creek Road
Trail Creek Cabin’s unique history at the Sun Valley Resort makes it a fun and interesting destination for both visitors and locals. First built as Averell Harriman’s private hunting cabin; the restaurant menu reflects the original rustic intent and features Idaho cedar-planked trout, Snake River beef, and Wood River produce. The buffalo and lamp meatloaf is always a favorite. Guests can dine in the older part o the cabin, known as “Papa’s Bar,” or the main dining room, which offers unparalleled views of Baldy.
During the winter season, enjoy getting to Trail Creek Cabin by car or by sleigh and enjoy family-style dinner, drinks, and the cozy fire!
Exceptional service, a compelling wine list, a seasonally fresh menu and specialty cocktails (yes, they have a liquor license) have kept this beloved global restaurant open for 23 years. Customers return again and again to experience favorite dishes and those that the chef changes nightly, weekly, and seasonally.
Walking down the stairs into this traditional pub is a right of passage for any visitor to Ketchum, along with downing one of the establishment’s notorious Moscow Mules, served cold in a copper cup (so precious, one must leave their credit card as collateral for ordering the drink).
